Prom Description & Registration

SATURDAY, MAY 16, 2026

CITRUS VALLEY HIGH SCHOOL
Bistro; 5:00pm-8:00pm

"Our Time To Shine" is an unforgettable prom experience for special needs students at CVHS. Honored guests will receive a complimentary corsage/boutonniere upon arrival and enjoy a variety of activities, including a red carpet entrance, music, dancing, karaoke, a crowning ceremony where each honored guest will be crowned a king or queen of the prom, refreshments, and more. Each honored guest will enjoy the 1-on-1 care of a buddy as their host throughout the evening!

Registered CVHS guests attending Our Time to Shine are invited to select a new prom dress or individual suit separates and create a perfect prom look to make this their magical night to shine!

Dresses and suit separates are available in a limited variety of sizes, colors, and patterns. Personal shoppers will be available to help guests find their perfect prom look and private dressing booths will be available for formal attire to be tried on. One free formal attire outfit per registered guest.

Come to prom looking and feeling your best with the perfect prom hair or makeup!

Hair and makeup services are provided by licensed cosmetologists free of charge for each registered guest. Sign up for your preferred appointment time and we will do our best to accommodate your selection. An email will be sent to you by May 1st with your confirmed appointment time.
