Athletic Clearance Packet
Instructions for Online Athletic Clearance Packet
Packets for the 2024-2025 school year will be available starting April 15, 2024!
Redlands Unified School District is using a secure registration platform, Home Campus , that provides our families with a safe, easy, and user-friendly way to sign up for athletics!
In order to participate in athletics for Redlands Unified School District, all athletes must complete a two step process before attending any tryouts or practices. An online athletic clearance packet must be submitted through Home Campus, and a valid sports physical must be turned in with a doctor's signature and office stamp.
Home Campus Athletic Packet Instructions:
-
Visit Home Campus and select 'For Students and Parents' on the top right hand side, then select 'California'.
-
Log in (if you are a returning student-athlete), or Create Account (if you are a new student-athlete).
-
Select “Start Clearances Here” in the top right-hand corner to begin.
-
Choose the school, school year, and sports in which your student participates. Make sure to select all sports your athlete is interested in playing for the school year. Click “Next.”
-
Complete all required fields for Student Information, Educational History, Medical History, and Signature Forms.
-
Press “Submit” and print your Confirmation Message/Consent Form to sign and return to your school’s Athletic Office.
- Note: You can upload your student's sports physical digitally at this point, but it is not necessary to complete the packet.
Sports Physical Submission:
-
Your student will need to turn in a copy of his/her Sports Physical (uploaded to Home Campus, or turned into the front office), complete with a Dr.’s signature and OFFICE STAMP. Without this form, your student will not be cleared to participate in any sport within the Redlands Unified School District.
-
All of your submitted data will be electronically filed with your school’s Athletic Department for review.
-
After all items are completed and turned in, you can monitor the status of your athlete’s clearance by logging into your Home Campus account and looking under ‘All Clearances’ on your home page.
-
Once cleared, your athlete can start participating in practices with our sports teams!
If you need a blank sports physical form, you can download one here, or you can have your student pick one up from the front office. *We do not accept physical forms that have been filled out by a chiropractor.
*Online Athletic Packets need to be completed every School Year.
*Sports Physicals need to be completed every Calendar Year.
Questions/Concerns can be directed to CVHS Athletic Secretary, Ronni Garcia.
