Hello, I'm Mr. Davenport and I am excited to be one of your Citrus Valley assistant principals. I grew up on the East Coast, spending time in New Jersey and Tennessee, but mostly Pennsylvania, before my family moved to the San Francisco Bay Area where I graduated high school. While my wife and I met there, she dreamed of coming back home to Redlands, where she grew up. Our family moved to Redlands in 2020, with our children attending Redlands schools.
Before joining the admin team, I was a classroom teacher for 27 years, teaching in East Palo Alto, Cupertino, and, most recently, San Bernardino. I hold a history degree from Westmont College in Santa Barbara and a master's in public administration from Notre Dame de Namur University in Belmont, CA. As a National Board Certified Teacher, I'm always looking for ways to promote rigor and professionalism in the work environment. I look forward to meeting you!
