The CVHS Student Center provides personal and academic counseling, assistance with college research and planning, assistance with career research and planning, testing advisement and resources, and career technical education advisement. The Student Center sponsors a fall college fair for 4-year college programs and a spring fair for 2-year, technical, and military programs. The Colton-Redlands-Yucaipa Regional Occupations Programs (CRY-ROP) Career Readiness Specialist is housed in the Student Center and available to meet with students.


As part of the Student Center, CVHS also offers a Career Readiness Specialist that students can work with.

As a dedicated Career Readiness Specialist, Ms. Slover is committed to guiding and supporting students as they navigate the exciting transition beyond high school. Operating within the Colton Redlands Yucaipa Regional Occupational Program (CRY-ROP) on our high school campus, she provides individualized assistance in exploring careers, planning for college and trade schools, and honing essential job search skills. Students are encouraged to tap into her expertise to investigate options aligned with their unique interests and aspirations. Whether trade school/college-bound or ready to enter the workforce directly, Ms. Slover invites you to visit the Career Center, where a myriad of services and opportunities await to help you make well-informed decisions about your future.
